Just to be clear, at every show we do usually have one or two people who stop, gasp in horror and ask how we could have done such a thing to a piece of furniture. Well, actually they usually don't ask. It's much closer to accusing me of forever having ruined a piece of history. I'm okay with it, though. You can't please everyone in life and I know that piece of history had a better chance of ending up in a landfill than a loving home before.

Gorgeous transformations! I'm with you; I appreciate old furniture and the history of it all, but not when it starts stinkin' up the room! What better way to appreciate it than to give it new life rather than throw it away! :)
